How to add a new property / missing address
You must provide the address of the property when you create an application for consent. However, your property might not yet have a registered address, for example when you do not have the title for a property on a new subdivision.
You can use the Enter address manually option and provide a legal description or other information for the BCA to use when processing your application.
When you enter an address manually on an application, you must also select the authority that should process the application.
Enter an Address Manually
When creating an application, on the What is the address of the building site step:

Select Enter address manually.
- Add enough information to the Address 1, City and Zip code fields to identify the property.
These are mandatory fields, so you must input some content to all three fields in order to continue to the next step.
For example, include the Lot and DP numbers or subdivision identifiers. - Set Authority to the correct building consent authority for your property.
- Select Next.
